I am a freelance photographer based in my home city of London where I mainly shoot portrait and fashion commissions for a mixture of brands and publications. As much as possible I like to approach things from a documentary viewpoint, letting my subjects tell their story and context in a quiet, natural manner.
I also spend a few months each year on the road photographing backstage at the major fashion weeks, currently exclusively for Vogue. In the past I've covered shows for publications like T: The New York Times Style Magazine and Dazed and Confused, as well as in house for brands like Burberry, Dior and Fendi.
On the personal side of things I like to photograph stories about people who are drawn to physical spaces by particular niche interests. I've stayed at Loch Ness documenting the backdrop to the monster mystery, and I'm currently returning each year to a heavy metal festival in the Czech Republic that takes place in a 18th century military fortress.
I live in Islington, North London and have dual British and American passports, available for assignment worldwide. I'm also an official Fujifilm X-Photographer, using the system for all my work due to its excellent combination of image quality and small discreet size
